Chase & Catch

Super stoked when we received this..the only thing wrong with it is the angle being to flat, the ball bounces up more than to you so ya gotta get ready to chase & catch lol..would be nice if the were grippers at the bottom to stop it from damaging the wood!! Awesome memories playing this game back in the 80s:heart_eyes:

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. We make our boards to the angle and measurements of the NZ Gutter board association rules. We use to make them more angled but we got lots of feedback saying the angle was wrong so we played by the rules and changed it.
Great idea about the grips, we will look into that!

Gutterboard- too flat 😞

Disappointing 😞 the board is quite flat and so you can't really challenge yourself by going further back because the ball would go high up instead of bounce back to where you are standing. Even using the balls sold with the butterboards, we found balls.from other companies worked better.

Neat fun.

It's so much fun to be playing gutter board again. Well made board which will last for many years to come.

Excellent and Fun

A great activity for our whānau to enjoy. Bring backs so many childhood memories.
Only recommendation I have is to make it heavier so it doesn’t move when hit by ball.

Schooling the kids & moko boys

Showing our kids “Our rules” of the game when we played this 30-40 years ago. So much fun together or even just on our own when we have a spare 10minutes for a quick blat. The mokos want their own one now…
